Wrong Again Again david

Ulster-Scot,

The ALTERANTIVE to a devolved Assembly - costing a fortune and containing terrorists, is to SCRAP it. 100%. No terrorists in Government.

Northern Ireland SHOULD, in my view, have a Grand Committee at Westminster, which would have EXECUTVE power over issues directly affecting NI. More general issues would be dealt with through Parliament. That way, NI issues would be decided by NI politicians, assuming of course that all such politicians took the oath of loyalty required of them. The again, why should disloyal MP’s be allowed a say on anything?

I recall a certain Mr Jeffrey Donaldson used to argue for the very same thing, within the past few years even but..sniff sniff…is that the scent of power I detect, the chance to play at mickey mouse local politics…???

Even if this stupid grand committee idea was workable it would leave northern Ireland with out the ability to govern itself making it little more than a fiefdom of london

And second and more telling even if this committee was formed northern Ireland would still end up being run by terrorists, it would just be terrorists with titles

    Sean,
there’s an update, JD has parried back in the newsletter, getting the measure of DV, highlighting Vance’s failure at the ballot box
Naturally our wee davy is in fine form, unbowed, unchastened, emboldened, embittered and firing back in a vain attempt to humiliate his opponent by calling him a sheep.
Oh davy, you masochist, with your boundless ego; what are we to do with you?

  2. pimpernel:

Here is the link to the news letter story though I think JD oversells the defeat of Sinn Fein but hey what ever gets you through the night

    http://www.newsletter.co.uk/letters-to-the-editor?articleid=2958868

And wavey davey not graciously accepting his due criticism no way, can’t be, he is a man of class and distinction or atleast thats his opinion

  3. Jo:

Excellent letter from wee Jeffrey. Hits all the nails on the head. DV has no support and less credibility.

  4. Percy:

absolutement jo, what we’re witnessing is the voice from beyond the grave from DV.
    Trouble for him is:
he don’t even know he’s dead yet !

  5. Ian:

no fan of JDs but he called it right; Vance couldn’t get elected though he tried and now he sits on the sidelines crying like a baby, where he belongs, I suppose.
you think if Vance got elected he wouldnt be up there now collecting the big salary, you know he would.

  6. Jo:

So, given the pointlessness of pursuing a political career, the main point of ATW is to provide a lifeline to similarly minded people. That, despite any legal rejoinders on the site, constitutes an incitement and endorsement of racist and sectarian views carried thereon.

Any aspiration to serious commentary has been rebutted well by Jeffrey who is the most polite of the DUPers but nonethless can’t conceal his contempt for what is simply a nasty little man. Once Stephen Nolan and William Crawley realise that, as have David Dunseith and Karen Patterson, the sooner we won’t have to listen to his hypocrisy.

  7. Jeremy:

Did Vancy Boy bring this up on ATW? Haven’t seen him mention of it, he usually loves blogging about when he’s mentioned in the paper or on radio or TV.

We may assume that he was well and truely put in his place by J O’D

    LOL

    Jeremy

His Dunkirk is on his site. He has presented it as a victory. In reality he is trying to prove that he matters, his psychophants lapped it up, telling the legend in his own lunchbox how great he is. The self-publicist is just a bigot with a typewriter plain and simple.

I wonder if he will go the same way as the original Waco Dave?

  9. Jo:

Can’t help but contrast the scathing mockery of the elderly SF man gored to death by a bull (Catholic) and the apparent sympathy for the 3 young men who took their own lives in the vicinity of DV’s home village (all Protestant)

    But of course, he’s not a bigot…

  10. Tony:

    Perish the thought ;)

  11. Percy:
